Description
Civilization.  During the mid-24th century, Dachlyds were involved in a trade dispute with their nearest neighors, the Gemarians.  Captain Jean-Luc Picard helped mediate the dispute in 2366 to help both parties arrive at a mutually beneficial solution (Captain's Holiday -TNG).
