Description
Humanoid species.  Letheans are able to attack an opponent by giving a severe, usually fatal, telepathic shock.  In 2371, a Lethean named Altovar attacked Dr. Julian Bashir in this way, but the telepathic shock merely put him into a temporary coma (Distant Voices -DS9).  Soto, an associate of Toral, was Lethean (The Sword of Kahless -DS9).
