Description
Inhabitants of planet Malkus IX.  The Leyrons, unlike most known humanoid cultures, developed a written language before spoken or sign languages (Loud as a Whisper -TNG).  The Leyrons also use gestures for nonverbal communication.  Captain Janeway studied Leyron gestures (Macrocosm -VGR).
