Description
Inhabitants of planet Organia who appeared to be simple primitive people with absolutely no advancement in tens of thousands of years.  In reality the Organians were highly advanced noncorporeal life-forms who developed beyond the need for physical bodies millions of years ago.  When Klingon forces sought to occupy Organia in 2267 for the planet's strategic value, the Organians rejected both the Klingons and the Federation, asserting they had no interest in their dispute.  Following a declaration of war by the two antagonists, the Organians imposed the Organian Peace Treaty to prevent hostilities (Errand of Mercy -TOS).
