Description
Humanoid society native to the Delta Quadrant.  The Tak Tak use ritualistic body language as their primary form of communication and a skeletal ridge which protrudes from thri forehead, around their nose, and into their chin.  The Tak Tak had serious problems with macrovirus infestations, and by 2373, had a strict policy of destroying any infected ship or colony.  Captain Janeway described them as one of the more unusual species encountered in the Delta Quadrant, and also as the most unforgiving people she had ever met.  Captain Janeway unknowingly gave one of the worst insults possible to a Tak Tak by placing her hands on her hips during a negotiation meeting in 2372 (Macrocosm -VGR).
